In this video, the postgraduate students who based their research on the South African Netherlands Partnership for Alternatives in Development (SANPAD). Emerging themes from data collected from research sites in various parts of South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Nigeria is presented. These themes include: the challenges that women leaders experience in patriarch societies; how do identity variables such as race, ethnicity impact on educational leadership; leadership styles and strategies; the intensification of emotional labour; a critique of servant leadership; etc.
